‘Mupo’ means ‘ All of Creation, including the Cosmos’ , all things of natural origin, in the Venda language.  This name has deep significance in Venda, evoking the memory  of the core responsibility of each generation to safeguard Nature – Mupo -  for the next generation.  ‘Dzomo la Mupo’, the vocal and committed group of community members, translates to be the ‘voice of Mupo’.
